BCSC Pre-K

Students who attend a high-quality Pre-K program will meet achievement benchmarks at a higher rate than those students who do not attend Pre-K. This presentation to the BCSC Board of Trustees shows the results for one cohort of students. Please consider enrolling your child in a high-quality Pre-K Program! 

The application for the 2019-2020 school year is available by clicking here or on the BCSC homepage under the Pre-K Applications heading.  You can also get a paper version of the application at Busy Bees Academy or any elementary school in BCSC.  Students must be four-years-old on or before August 1st, 2019 to be eligible for BCSC Pre-K for the 2019-2020 school year. 

BCSC Pre-K will be in session Monday-Friday following the BCSC calendar.

The application window for BCSC Pre-K will be ongoing and seats are filled on a first come first serve basis.

The tuition for Pre-K for the 2019-2020 school year is $160 per week for 36 weeks of school. ARE YOU INTERESTED IN FREE PRE-K? BCSC Pre-K currently has six sites; Busy Bees Academy, CSA Fodrea, Legado, Parkside, Southside, and Taylorsville.  Our main location, Busy Bees Academy, is located in downtown Columbus at 1209 Sycamore St.  BCSC Pre-K will offer these same locations for the 2019-2020 school year and additional sites might be added based on need.
