Mrs. Okuleye-Ash

My name is Ebuny Okuleye-Ash and I am a Special Education Pre-school teacher at Busy Bees Academy. I started my teaching career in January of 2017 and my practice as a teacher has been informed by various experiences going as far back as 2009. They include being a lead teacher in two major daycare facilities in Columbus, Indiana, substitute teaching in BCSC, and working as a teaching assistant. I have also had many opportunities to work on a volunteer basis in various school settings. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education from IUPUC and an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am passionate about working with children - they are our future. I believe that all children deserve to feel included and empowered to be all that they can be. I see my role as partnering with my student’s parents/guardians to help my students reach their full potential.
