CSA Fodrea Kindergarten

Why should you choose to send your child to our program?

  • We offer an exciting, engaging, and positive learning environment for all students.

Our program strives to be age appropriate while we meet and exceed the Indiana State Standards.

The 2 kindergarten teachers team teach our 50 kindergarten students. (1 teacher in charge of the language arts and the other teacher is in charge of the math)

We use Orton Gillingham a multi-sensory approach and Tucker Signing for teaching reading.

Our program uses station time as part of our instruction, which allows us to have small group teaching. We have 5 to 6 students in a group.

The students participate in projects that help our community.

Our school offers "squad time" which helps makes social connections with kids in other grades, builds a sense of community, and global learning.

We teach using themes so the students make more connections while they are learning all subjects.

Our students receive their own reading folder that goes at their own pace and meets their needs.

The kindergarten students have a quiet reading/rest time everyday to help meet the needs of a 5 and 6 year old.

CSA Fodrea offers music, art, gym, library, and STEM classes every week for kindergarten through 6th grade students.

We take several field trips through out the year to connect our classroom learning to the "real world".

We have several years of experience teaching kindergarten.

The teachers are great at communicating with parents. We have remind text, a Facebook page, a class Dojo account, and a weekly newsletter.

The CSA Fodrea Kindergarten teachers LOVE teaching and helping kids grow and learn everyday!

Come take a tour and see for yourself why your child would LOVE coming to our kindergarten program! We look forward to meeting you and your child soon!
