The Federal government has developed new categories to report ethnicity and race of individuals in order to provide a more accurate picture of the nation’s ethnic and racial diversity.  Because of these changes, it is necessary to collect new information on these categories for your child.

 

Collection of this information will be conducted during the month of Aprill, 2010. Copies of the collection form will be sent home with students who are in Early Childhood, Pre-kindergarten, Kindergarten and grades 1 through 8.

 

Students in grades 9 - 11 will be complete the re-identification form during their English period.

 

If you have have a child in elementary or middle and have not received a copy of the collection form, please contact your child's school principal.
