BCSC EBL Above & Beyond Award
Criteria
Balancing practices, games, and the challenges of everyday life can be very demanding for any BCSC student-athlete. The EBL would like to honor the true “student-athlete” on Super Saturday who excels in school, as well as on the court.
Above & Beyond Nomination Process:
Each EBL team (cheer, basketball, and dance) will nominate ONE student-athlete from their team who represents the true “student-athlete”.
Nomination criteria: Overall grades, attendance, citizenship, exceeding you school’s student code, and exceeding PBIS standards will be guidelines in determining your nominee. It is NOT strictly grades only award.
We are looking for the well-rounded “student-athlete” who goes Above & Beyond.
6th grade student-athletes should always be considered first priority for the Above and Beyond award. A fifth grade student may be selected if you do not have a sixth grade student-athlete that meets the selection criteria for the Above and Beyond Award.
The nomination process should involve the faculty/staff, building leadership, and his/her coaches.
We will announce winners during halftime of the boy/girl championship games & during the award ceremony of the cheer competition.
