This program offers Indiana students an opportunity to enjoy a list of nominated titles and from them vote for their favorite to win the Young Hoosier Book Award.There are two elementary school levels: Picture Book and Intermediate.Students in grades K - 3 must read or listen to at least 12 books from the list prior voting.Grade 4 - 6 students must read or hear a minimum of 5 nominated titles to qualify as a voter in late April.Congratulations to the winners of the 2013-2014 YHBA Awards!

The winner of the Intermediate Book category is Smile by Raina Telgemeier with 2,041 votes. There were a total of 11,969 votes in this category.
