    Earth and Space Science provides a study of the basic concepts of geology, meteorology, astronomy, oceanography, landforms, and energy transfer in forming and modifying the earth and its environment. Through laboratory activities, computer activities, small group discussions and demonstrations, large group lectures and presentations using appropriate videos, CD’s and laser disc materials and demonstrations, the students gain an understanding of the basic concepts of Earth and Space Science, to explore various possible Earth and Space careers, and to gain insight into possible environmental and social issues.
