Welcome to Columbus East High School!  Whether you are the parent of a new student who has selected East High School or a prospective parent who is still deciding about school selection, we want to welcome you to East High School.

These are especially exciting years at Columbus East High School.  We are learning about continuous improvement process and how we can ensure that teaching and learning at East can be more meaningful and reflective of the new information age and the changing workplace.  Through this work, the faculty at East High School does not lose track of the importance of each student, each individual student is valued by us and determines our success as a school.  We all strive to provide valuable and meaningful learning opportunities for all of our students and we strive to be student-centered in our approach to teaching.

We invite you to be an active partner with us in the education of your teenager.  As the year progresses, and as you become either more informed or more puzzled, we encourage you to call the school and talk with those who might be of help.  If your question deals with in-class events, please ask to speak with the teacher.  If your question deals with the overall program, curriculum or activities, please contact either the main office or the guidance office.

We are glad to have you with us and we want to assure you that we will do our best to help your teen experience academic, social, and physical growth.  Again, welcome to East High School.
