• Student Leadership

    C4 offers a number of student leadership opportunities.  This is a list of the C4 organizations that offer leadership opportunities and, when available, a link to the organizations' national websites.
     
    C4 Student Ambassador Student Advisory committee - team building
    The C4 Student Ambassadors are a group of students identified by their C4 teachers as leaders in their class.  These students attend a one day team building and program familiarization retreat at the beginning of the school year.  Throughout the year these students are called upon by C4 administrators and staff to represent the program at various activities throughout the region.  This may involve working at a Career Fair, participating in parent and student informational meetings, assisting with the annual C4 Awards program and other tasks involving the promotion of C4 opportunities. 
     
     

     

    Business Professionals of America BPA members meeting
    The C4 Business Professionals of America (BPA) members participate in several activities designed to challenge and encourage leadership among its members.  These include local, state and national competitions designed to allow students to: 
    • Demonstrate occupational competencies;
    • Broaden knowledge, skills, and attitudes;
    • Expand leadership and human relation skills;
    • Demonstrate a competitive spirit; and
    • Receive recognition.
     
     
     
     
     
    Family, Career and Community Leaders of AmericaFCCLA members - state competition
    The C4 Family, Career and Community Leaders of American (FCCLA) is a group of students representing the C4 Family and Consumer Science classes who participate in activities focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner and community leader.  Members develop skills for life through: character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation.  There are opportunites for FCCLA members to participate in competitions at the local, state and national levels.

    The C4 Future Farmers of America (FFA) members participate in a number of community service projects as well as contests designed to encourage learning and leadership.  FFA uses agricultural education to create real-world experiences offering students opportunities that change lives and prepare them for premier leadership, personal growth and career success.
     
     
     
     
     
    Health Occupations Students of AmericaHealth careers students practicing their skills
    The C4 Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) organization provides its members opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development helping students to meet the needs of the health care community.  Activites include community services involving health care issues as well as local, state and national competitions.  The mission is to promote career opportunities in health care and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.
     
     
     
     
     
    SkillsUSAC4 Machine Trades at national championship
     
    C4 SkillsUSA organization helps students to develop their knowledge and technical skills and also an attitude of sincere enthusiasm and passion in their educational path, in their career and in their relationships.  Being in SkillsUSA is a learning and growing experience as members are motivated to be the best they can be in their technical skill development and personal/ professional development.  Through local, state and national competitions SkillsUSA provides an opportunity for students to put into practice their teamwork skills, creativity and project management.
