C4 Columbus Area Career Connection

C⁴ is an Area Career and Technical Education program that serves students from 12 area schools recognized as Area District #41 (See schools served for link to listing of Participating School information).

As the C⁴ Counselor, I am privileged to visit each of these schools to share what I like to call Opportunity Talks.    I share information about our classes with each school's current sophomores and other interested students.  (See Opportunity Talk Link for calendar of visits and other information.)

In my position I serve C⁴ students in a variety of venues.  Personal and discipline counseling are vital components of my duties, particularly among students who are enrolled in a C⁴ class that is not located at the student's home school.  Career counseling is available for all C⁴ students especially those who are considering a community placement.  Additional services include overseeing transportation between BCSC locations, as well as enrollment activities and class scheduling.

My personal philosophy is centered around one basic theme: "What can we do today to make tomorrow better."
