School starts at 7:50 and ends at 3:05. School doors open officially at 7:20 am.
What should I do when calling a student in absent?

What do I do if my student needs to leave school early?
Call 376-4386 the day prior to the appointment, or send a note in with your student that morning of the appointment. Students will then have a pass giving them permission to leave early. Students must have a pass in order to leave class.
Call 376-4386 BEFORE 2:00 pm in order for a message to be delivered to your student before the end of the day.What if I have a concern about something at school?

Encourage your student to share his/her problems with you. Explain that this is NOT tattling. Know that your student may be embarrassed, ashamed, and fearful. Listen carefully and reassure him/her that they will not have to face this problem alone. Praise and encourage your student. Help him/her take pride in their accomplishments and differences. A confident student is less likely to be targeted by bullies. Search for talents and positive qualities that can be developed in your student. This may help him/her stand up for themselves. Help your student develop healthy friendships. Encourage your student to participate in extracurricular activities or sports. This can increase your student's self-esteem and increase his/her ability to make friends. Call your student's counselor if you need help.

If it is still a problem, make and appointment with your counselor.Request forms are available on the Guidance counter. Fill in your name and date. Your counselor will send a pass for you within 24 hours, if at all possible. If you are absent for one day, you haveone additional day in which to complete and turn in the assignment. If you are absent formore than two days, your parent may call the Guidance Office and request your assignments.Be sure, if possible, to refer to your team’s website to keep up to date on all assignments.Lost and Found is in the Nurse’s Office. Be sure to keep your locker locked and DO NOT SHARE YOUR COMBINATION — and things are much less likely to disappear.What do I do if I need to make a phone call?
Ask your team for permission to use the team phone. School phones are for student useONLY in emergencies. Cell phone use is NOT permitted during the school day.You need a physical form completed each year—check the Main Office or find a link to the current form on the Athletics page.
