• Medical Terminology

    Learn a new language in this one semester elective.  You will learn to define and use medical terminology correctly and will become proficient in spelling and pronouncing medical terms.  A programmed learning text is combined with videos, presentations, hands-on labs, and computer labs.  This course will provide a solid foundation in medical terminology for any student considering a health career. Students receiving a C or better in the course and pass a standard "ACCUPLACER" test will qualify for 3 college credits through Ivy Tech.
