About Me:

 

I received my post-secondary education at Indiana State University, where I studied music, and Indiana University Southeast, where I studied English/Language Arts Education.  I have undergraduate degrees in music and education, and I also hold a master's degree in education.  Before coming to Columbus, I worked with students in the metro Louisville, Kentucky area and Austin, Indiana. 

 

On a personal note, I'm a native of Seymour and a graduate of Seymour High School.  Outside of teaching, I enjoy music, cooking, acting, and spending time with friends and family.  Traveling is probably my favorite hobby, and I've been involved in the exchange program with our sister city and school in Loehne, Germany since 2012.   In addition to Germany, I've traveled throughout Europe and Asia, including a short term exchange in China during my college years.
