Mission Statement:Our Columbus North World Language Department seeks to empower students to become global citizens through a safe and supportive environment.Student Outcomes:1. Students are resourceful and knowledgable when learning the language.2. Students are purposeful and motivated through multiple means of instruction.3. Students develop skills to communicate through listening, reading, writing, and speaking.4. Students understand different cultural comparisons and differences.We offer the Indiana Multilingual Proficiency Certificate.Each individual language has a travel program. Please see each language's homepage to access that information.Goal:Businesses are looking for bilingual individuals who can connect with the culture as well as the language of other countries.
