    My name is Michael Reed and I grew up in Columbus, IN. Some interests and hobbies of mine include kayaking, hiking, camping, basketball, and baseball. I really enjoy teaching my students not only about the amazing world of science, but also about how to display oneself as a positive citizen. I am also the Northside 8th grade boys basketball coach.
     
    Each school year is exciting as we investigate interesting topics such as forces and motion, cells, plate tectonics, volcanoes, and rocks and minerals!
