• Welcome to English 8!
     
    My name is Austin Kennedy, and I am an 8th Grade English teacher on the Titan team as well as the English Academic Team coach. The 2019-2020 school year will be my fourth at Northside. I am a proud alumnus of Indiana University. GO HOOSIERS!  I graduated from IU with a degree in Secondary English Education and English as a Second Language. 
     
    During English 8, we will read and analyze various pieces of fiction and non-fiction, write for several different purposes, learn how to use vocabulary and grammar concepts effectively to improve writing skills, and study several other topics. Click here for course information.
