• Car Rider Procedure - AM

We intend for our AM traffic pattern of student drop-off to provide a safe and efficient start to the day.  Nearly 300 students arrive by car between 7:15 and 7:45 each day.  To keep this as safe and efficient as possible, please follow these guidelines:

    • Drop-off is only on the north side of the building.  Do NOT drop off on 27th Street, Maple Street, or along the west side (St. Bartholomew) of the building.

    • Pull forward all the way to the crosswalk or until the car in front of you stops.

    • Unload along the curb only, not into the lane of traffic.

    • If you choose to pass after unloading, proceed with caution.

    • Be attentive at all crosswalks.

    • Maximum speed is 15 MPH on school property.

    • Students may NOT be dropped off in the parking lot.

    • It is important to keep the car line moving.  Please write lunch money checks and sign papers before arriving at Northside.

    Car Rider Procedure - PM

This year has been the best parent pick-up we can remember.  Thank you so much to each of you for following our safety procedures.  It is a busy time of day for traffic because St. Bartholomew, Schmitt, Columbus North and Northside are all releasing.  To keep this as safe and efficient as possible, please follow these guidelines:

    • Pick-up is only on the north side of the building.  Do NOT pick-up on 27th Street, Maple Street or along the west side (St. Bartholomew) of the building.

    • Students may NOT be picked up in the parking lot.

    • Pull forward as far as possible.

    • Encourage your student to come outside immediately after the dismissal bell.  The quicker he/she gets to your car, the faster the line moves.

    • The last car each afternoon has gotten through by 3:25.
