• Drama Club

    One of the key components missing from the North theatre program is formalized instruction in dramatic arts.  Drama Club will be the first step in our exploration of offering theatre classes at North.
     
    The club will meet each Tuesday when we are not in auditions/rehearsals for our mainstage shows.  We will start at 3:30 with the intent of having a ninety minute session. 
     
    Initially, emphasis will be on developing acting skills, but there will be times when drama club will focus on the technical areas of theatre.  Acting skills will be explored through improvisation, character development, scene/monologue study and audition techniques.  The sessions will be run by the adult North Drama staff.
